Chain of Licks

Dusty is washing her pup, Hoonah, while Hoonah herself is washing her toy, Coddles :3

(Hoonah is a fan-pup I made for Dust and Kodi, and she is up for adoption - I'll be picky however :P)

Drawn with colouring pencils - Windhowler helped me with the paw-perspective (:

I just had to come back to this. I've seen plenty of Kodi/Dusty fanart, but rarely does it actually get to the extent of having art featuring the pups - let alone /good/ art. Kudos.

Mighty: Yes, I did consider having her eyes open; being a bit torn between open or closed, I in the end drew her with fairly thick lashes, in hopes it would give the impression that her eyes were slightly open.

Oh, and thank you both.

Yeah, this is just too much for me - in a good way.

I think having Dusty's eyes open slightly would have given this drawing more emotion, but it's still a great piece! I really like the background too. If it were a real place, it looks like it would have been a peaceful and relaxing place to relax.
