Oh, now I could not resist!
Steele with a cocky grin overlooks a Pittsburgh mill in November fog and steam.
This scene actually depicts a real location. The buildings behind the blast furnaces (mill) belong to Pittsburgh, this mill was only 2 miles away from downtown.
The mill is J&L's South Pittsburgh works at Laughlin Jct. This mill is also a victim of time, gone for 3 decades now.
I doubt many here can appreciate these beasts. Most where being destroyed when I was born.
Mills with good steady jobs turn to fields turn to urban centers with fast food places paying min wage....some progress, but progress none the less.
