Puppies & Flowers!!
A request for Moss of her two characters, Shadow and Deshina!
I thought it was really interesting how Shadow and Deshina have similar histories. Both of them grew up without their fathers and both their mothers died in front of their eyes. But while Shadow had to grow up the hard way, Deshina gets adopted by Shadow so she can enjoy the rest of her childhood while he protects her from the kind of life he had. Maybe he relates to her because they're both orphans and he knows what a terrible life that is. Maybe raising Deshina and seeing her happy gives him closure on his own difficult past.
Anyways, those were just the thoughts I had based on Moss's wonderful characters.... So I ended up drawing Shadow guarding Deshina with his life while she enjoys the beautiful and peaceful world around her. Awww. <3
