I don't think it was selfish, it was a matter of life or
death XD I just don't think it was made as big enough a deal
(the dogs losing their jobs) Because back then, dogs were
sold and resold and many were sold to very abusive people.
So I think it'd seem less selfish if they made that point.

Actually, perhaps there are, but would you want to work
where you DIDNT want to work? kodi wasnt the ONLY one who
wanted to keep that job, and also he wasnt selfish cause be
wanted to run like this father,balto. He thought the race
would be fun.
The ONLY part when kodi was selfish was
when he put his job in front of a life.

I don't believe Kodi was being selfish,There are other
jobs,like Police dog,among other jobs he could do.

Wanting to save his job wasn't at all selfish, especially
because of what he said about WHY he wanted the job.
Remember? He said, and I quote, "All I ever wanted to do
was be a part of your team. Bringing the mail and supplies
is all about helping people. And now when somebody really
needs our help, we're sitting on our butts. I mean if this
is what it takes to be a mail dog... then I'm not sure
that's what I want to be." In short, he wanted to do the
job because he enjoyed helping people (besides, it's hardly
selfish to want to avoid life as a street dog). What WAS
selfish was when he refused to help Balto find Duke.

Indeed. I dont think it was Kodi being 'selfish'. Its not
wrong to wanna keep yer job. And yes, as Cat said, they
might not have made a big enough deal out of it. But then
again, they really couldn't, this is a kids film. They
couldn't really do so. XD

yes,he's selfish.he didn't want to save duke because,he
wanted to keep his job,which kodi still won but
remeber....when kodi said "he could have ended our jobs" and
then,he didn't go to help duke.but,he did later on.but he
was still selfish through out the whole movie,till the
end.silly isn't it? c'mon kodiak!!!

Well, no. I disagree. He wasn't selfish to want to keep his
job but, he was when he refused to help his dad find the
bush plane. But, I guess it's your choice to think he is selfish or not.
