I want to make a website without any one making the disgn and doing every thing for me.Are there any books about html and php?And how long will it take to learn about all that stuff?And I want to know where do you make your own sight?

It depends on how fast you learn things (IQ) Any place that sells
books/library will have books on HTML. I would try and get ahold of
HTML for dummies. Its for beginners. ( I checked out this book at the
library before, though it would of helped if I had read it.) There are
also tutorials online and on youtube. You will also need a program
such as photoshop or gimp to make a layout and be able to slice it up.
(very tricky to do.) As for a host, use freewebs.
