On the trailer of Balto 1 on the English version of Balto 1 DVD, the brown dog is referred to by the narator as 'Star'. And in the movie, the grey dog calls the brown dog 'Star'. Why do you guys say that the brown dog is 'Nikki', when the grey dog is?

No, you must have made a mistake...Because it is widely known that the grey (and crazy looking xD) small dog, is indeed Star. And Nikki is the brown one...and Kaltag is the light brown one.

You didn't make a mistake, the narrator in the trailer did and got Nikki and Star mixed up. The tall thin light brown on with dark eye patch is Kaltag, hes a Chinook. The fat brown one (who is a a chow chow) is Nikki. And the small crazy grey one is Star (who Is a Alaskan Klee Kai). Hope that helps ShebaDove
