If you want a free photo editor, why not try Sumo Paint. It's a web
application, meaning that you don't have to install anything on your
machine, and it's instantly cross-platform compatible. Just go the
site, and lauch the app in your browser. Upload your images from your
computer, edit them as you see fit, and you can save your finished
creation back to your computer, or create a Sumo Paint account and
save it in there. Just one thing. The site recommends that you have Flash Player 10 in order to get the best performance out of it. You can use Sumo Paint here: http://www.sumopaint.com/web/ |

Well its not a free program, you have to buy it. There are several
versions of it too, like the cheaper, Elements (which I'd suggest
getting 6.0 or 7.0 since they are the newest) which run around
$90-$100 on average with tax. The CS versions are alot more expensive,
going up to $500 or more. Elements is basically a toned down version
of the CS versions, and would be the better program to start out with
for beginners. After you buy and you just put the disk in your computer CD-drive and follow the instructions, and it installs. Its easy, the computer does everything for you, you just do the basic 'where to install', 'put in your info' etc. You can download trial versions though, at http://www.adobe.com/ then 'downloads'. They last 30 days and you can try Elements and CS versions. |
