okay someone explain to me please how this whole thing works.

For example: CatWhoHas14Tails has Kiona but that particular character is also from Wolf quest right? but everytime i see a drawing of Kiona it says its copyrighted to Cat. Or how CatLuvsZuko has Saba.

(not that im pointing fingers i jsut could think of a good example)

so say for instance I picked this particular wolf

Gave her a name, bio, even created her family, would that make her mine? Or like Can I make my own version of the red faced pup (kiona) and have her be mine? Im very confused =]

There's no such thing as "copyright" (nothing legal anyway) But yes, you can then tell that this is your character.

so i could make my OWN version of the red faced pup? then that version would be copy righted to me?

Official characters are the named characters. For the characters without names (or characters which we're unsure, like Saba), you can make your own version of it.

No, just that version of the character would be yours, like Kiona is Cat's VERSION of the red faced pup. The pup and the design is copyrighted to universal, but they never gave a couple of the pups, or random wolves like your image actual stories and names, which gives fans some room to improvise for lack of a better word. But I don't know all details of copyrights, so I may be missing things, but over all I think that's the basic idea. Others are free to elaborate.
