when i looked up balto's picture on google.com it came up with balto stuffed in a museam. if you look closly then you will see that it says SIBERIAN HUSKY and his life span. So doesn't that prove anything???

It shouldn't even be a question of belief. It is an historical fact
that Balto was a full-bred Siberian husky. Not in the modern-day
sense, as you would see a representative of the breed now. The breed
has changed since then...somewhat. The legs have gotten a bit
shorter, the coat a bit longer and "prettier", the running pace rather
slower. Even despite that, there are still Siberian Huskies today
which can have coats and markings of the same coloration as the real
Balto's were.

Yes, Balto was a pure siberian husky. His breeder was, leonard Sepplala. he only raised siberain huskys.

That is indeed correct. For the real Balto, at least.

Yes, Balto was a purebred Siberian husky. Sadly, many people still believe the real Balto was part wolf, or an Alaskan malamute. But they're totally wrong.
