Best answer :

All you'll need to do is get a good quality DVD ripping program.
(Personally, I use magic DVD ripper). Then you just rip the DVD onto
your computer (don't worry. It doesn't hurt it!) It'll save it in a
file. Then what you do is import it to WMM. Then you're free to go
about making your vid. :]

I usually use Nero software. It's relatively cheap, and infinitely
reliable!

Ripping down loads your DVD to your PC and many other things like ,
PSP , I POD or Flash Drive.

- Make sure it isn`t copy protected. If it is, you`ll need a piece of
software like DVD Decrypter, but in many countries this is illegal use
of the software.

- If you have a non encrypted, non
copyrighted DVD - you can either copy the folder VIDEO_TS to your
computer - then with a DVD playing program, you can watch it on your
computer.

- In case you wish to burn it - you might want
to resize it so it`ll fit on a single layer DVD. THis you can do with
DVD shrink.
This will create an ISO file - which you can then
burn with a program like NERO to a DVD, or mount with Alcohol or
Daemon Tools - so you can watch it just as a DVD on your computer.
