I heard somewhere that Balto's father was Buck from The Call of the Wild. Is that true? Someone give me a good answer because this question has been in the back of my mind for days.

Umm, no. The Call of The Wild takes place before Balto. 'The Call of
The Wild' takes place in the 1800s, and 'Balto' takes place in the
1920s. Also Buck is a mix, and Balto's dad was a purebred husky. So no. And no one knows who Balto's father is. The movie
doesn't say.

I have the book. Buck is a St. Bernard/Scotch shepherd dog mix. No, Buck is not Balto's Father. Call of the Wild is a completely fictional book. The film Balto is fictional too, however, has nothing to do with Call of the Wild. So the rumors you heard, are wrong. |

In the book Buck was a mutt. (I don't remember what he was mixed
with though) But he had no Siberian husky in him at all. |

Buck was a mix? I thought he was a purebred husky. Or at least he
was in The Call of the Wild TV series. |

Balto's father was never saw, in any of the movies. all we know is, Balto's father was a siberian husky. Same goes for the real Balto. There are no records of his parents. But all we know is, both were siberian husky's. |

WolftheHero - that is quite true. However, the Balto cartoon is
also a very fictionalized version of the real history of the serum run, and of Balto himself. |

Agreed. Plus, that story is pure fiction unlike the story of Balto
so no. Buck is NOT Balto's dad. |
