Recently, I submitted a request for forum signature banner featuring Dale Earnhardt Jr. L?win Vampire accepted the request and made one. Problem was, even after clearing out enough space in my current signature - which meant getting rid of everything that was already in there - it wouldn't fit because the dimension size could not be specified. Or so the message that kept coming up told me. L?win then made a smaller version of that banner. I again cleared out my signature one by one, but I still got the same dimension related alert.

Has this happened to any of you? Is there some trick I haven't tried to make it fit? If so, can someone help me out here?

Well everyone, you can call off the search for help. Warriorcat stepped in and helped reformat the banner. Thanks for your help suggestions, anyway.

I'm not sure, maybe try saving the picture to another format (example : if it's a BMP, try saving it to JPG, GIF or PNG)

Both of them already were in PNG format, as were all my other signature banners. I saved them to my hard drive, highlighted the image name, pasted it into my signature, and all I get is the image name instead of the image. But at least I no longer got the dimensions could not be specified message.

MightyBalto - I cleared out my current signature to make either one of them fit. I got no such message. But as I already mentioned, all that appeared when I went to preview the modifications was the image name.
