Yes, Emotionally Disturbed, that's correct...Aniu
is a spirit in Balto 2. And the white wolf which producer Phil
Weinstein confirmed IS Aniu, from the first movie, is also presumed to
be a spirit as well.

It's very likely Aniu is dead. Aniu appeared like a ghost at the end
of Wolf Quest, so she's likely to be dead.

Beyond what is presented in the Balto cartoon movies, the rest is
merely speculative (and not official). Nothing about their fate is mentioned in the movies at all, and it has never been settled officially (though many fans have done articles and topics on the site here (and on other sites), and plenty of fan fiction which attempt to settle those burning questions. However, as I said, they would not be official...they are only how the individual fans imagine them.

Balto says, in the second
movie, (to Aleu) that his father was a husky. Nothing more. And in
that same movie, he mentions that his father had pups with a wolf.
Again, nothing more about that. Nothing except for a quick goodbye to
Aniu near the end of the movie, when she parts company with him, and
he says "goodbye, mother..."
