Why arn't mates aloud? why cant you put a mate box its not fair.

Ambersilver

Mates could cause very weird situations, like virually mating (!).
That's not appropriate for this site. It's a Balto fan site, not a
mate site. They could also yall at other people for "protecting" there
mate.....
I think it's very weird, and if we had a mate box
(that was Steet's april fool's joke, don't take it seriously), then
things would be a lot worse. The site is a whole bunch safer if we
didn't have mates. Remember, this is a KID-FRIENNDLY site!
But mates in fanfics or RPs are alright, as long as it doesn't get TO deatiled

Because mates are against the rules, this is a BALTO site not a damn MATE site! Seriously people! Why do you think mates are against the rules?! Just think what if someone who wanted to be your mate threatened to,uh, hurt you are 'do it' to you?!?!?!?

Mates are not aloud because they just cause problems and delemas. Also Steet made a no mate rule for your own saftey. You never know if a mate can be a "pretator". So you should be thankful to Steet. Also there is no need for another box.
