How do you colour in photoshop cs2 without going out the lines or going over the pictures detail?need help
RayJ
Have the lineart layer above the background layer, with the lineart
layer's background transparent, so only the lines show. Click on the
background layer and then "Add new layer", so the new layer is under
lineart and above the background layer. Then you can color.
For coloring stuff you scanned in without drawing new lines, have
the scanned picture as a new layer above the background layer. Set the
picture to Multiply, add a new layer above the background layer and
below the picture, and you can color it.
If you color out of the lines, just erase it.

I alway's use the layers for that one. you make another layer under neeth the layer with your drawing if you don't know how to do that: right click on the layer with your drawing and click on duplicate layer, throw the old one away. under the layers you see a recycle box and left next to that another icon, click on that and you will get another layer place the layer under the layer with the drawing. that you can collor on that layer, if you'r ready, but you want this as one whole layer, hold shift button and click on bothe of the layers trhen press controle e...sorry for the whole story, but i hope you get it ^^ |
