I am just wondering what ever happen to rosy she was one of the main character?in the first moive because the whole movie was for Balto to save her and the other kids and then she is gone in the rest of the movies :(

To state it more accurately, Rosy as a character was important in the
first movie. However, there was no dramatic purpose for her in the
sequels. She could have been written into the third movie, possibly,
but that would have diminished from the rest of the material, because
she would have had to be given lines and a reason for being there.
Which would also require working that into the limited amount of time
available for a standard-length animated movie.

And yes,
the character shown in the opening credits of Balto 3: Wings of
Change, in bed and later sitting out on the tundra near the old boat
(by the little campfire with Balto and Jenna) is Rosy.

Because she had no purpose, she played the role of a sick kid, and she wouldn't really fit in in the other movies. But then we see a child going to bed in the third movie at the beginning? Remember? So that's what I think... but I may not be 100% right.
