I was making something on GIMP when I clicked something and a box of the menu for the tools came up. I accidentally hit the red X and the box went away. But now I have no menu! It now says "You can drop dockable dialogs here". I tried over and over again to get the menu back! I even re-downloaded the GIMP! The menu will not come back!

What do I do to get it back??? I'm still learning!

I'm sure there are shortcuts to windows, maybe someone who has it can
help you (I don't have it installed right now)
Another way would
be to make sure you uninstall the program correctly with the windows
manager, and delete all remaining files in the installation directory
manually.
