Alrighty...it's been a while. But there've been changes in the staff, so...
"Fan fic of the week" apparently doesn't really mean "fan fic of the week", does it? Can't possibly. I've seen some fan fics run for weeks...sometimes even more than a month.
I find that most puzzling. After all, there are SIX fan fiction moderators. I don't mean to criticize, but does anyone have any clue as to why at least one of these six cannot take the time to attend to this issue on a more timely basis? And not at all to take anything away from any one writer, but the latest fan fiction in that slot (as of this writing) has been there for, well, over a month.
No wonder it's hard for writers to get noticed. And especially the less well-known writers, or the newer ones.
Six fan fiction moderators. It makes no sense that this situation exists. It needs to be corrected.

No, the problem isn't the fanfic mods; the problem is that I
didn't make an automatic system for them to change it. It's
not that easy to add something to change it automatically. I
added this option quickly, but I have to change it myself to
make it work. Lonewolf send me a PM to give me the new one,
but I often forget to change it or don't have the time.
Someday I'll re-think the way this works.
