I don`t think that`s a good idea.They will have to start over and do there own veision.That`s why I want to know how to contact universal.

SimbasGuard! you are 100% right but viewing the situation
from the medias point of view they made balto out to be the
hero of Nome...so that's why i say the true hero is Togo,
simply based on the reality that if the media is going to
talk about a dog that did the most why wouldn't they choose
the dog that did the most!

so we are both
right...we just attacked the situation from 2 different
sides!


and yes, all the dogs are
hero's! and without the contribution of every dog and musher
in that relay the medicine would not have reached Nome!

It was not The real Balto's fault that the media gave
decided hype him the way they did. Yes Togo did cover more
ground than any other team. But without the contribution of
every dog and musher in that relay the medicine would not
have reached Nome. All are heroes.

the story of balto was stretched enough as it is and the
first movie had the perfect ending and they should not had
made 2 and 3.

what happened was "balto" was
indented to be a movie project for interns and second rank
employees...the movie made just enough money to make it safe
to produce a second movie.

after the second
movie came out they didn't do so well money wise, and tried
to do what they did with "the land before time" (make a
third movie and hopefully make enough money to continue the
story) that didn't work, so they dropped the story.

the story if dead! it was a great first movie and
they should of left it their!

plus the real
hero of the Alaskan medicine run is a dog named Togo! (all
Balto did was run the last leg of the relay and he got all
the publicity for bringing the medicine into the town.)

controversial question . People feel strongly about this

I think it's kind of a Double Edged Sword. Disney would
definitely be able to promote "Balto" better, But instead of
continuing the "Balto" series they might just start over I
don't think I would like that. Another thing is assuming
that Universal did want to sell the rights to "Balto" would
Disney want to buy something that from strictly profit point
of view looks like a failure. Oh the upside Disney would
more than likely be able to get the original voice cast to
return for any more sequels.

i love the idea but i dont really have a say in this beacuse
i have never seen the balto movies
