Dragon Tamer

I'm writing a fanfic based on a TV series (yes, it's about dogs). I have a screenshot from the show that I want to use it as a cover pic, especially because it shows all the main characters, saving me the trouble of a long description. The problem is, I don't know where to get permission from the original animators, and I don't remember what website I got it from. Is it okay as long as I credit it to the original show, or should I just include a link to a similar picture or something?
