This has been something that I have been trying to figure out for a long time: How to get layers on PhotoImpression. (Please note that this is different than PhotoShop and does not work the same way)!
I would like to know how to make layers using PhotoImpression in the way you do with PhotoShop - at least if it is possible. If you have any tutorials or know of a place where I can find tutorials, or if anyone here has PhotoImpressions and would be willing to instruct me on making layers, it will be much appreciated.
Again, please note that PhotoImpression is differnt than PhotoShop and tutorials for layers on PhotoShop will not help. Thank you.

Well, usually if you just paste a new image into one, it will make that a new layer. You should be able to move it around, and such. But I dont think we have the same versions. I believe I have Version Four and Five. I believe you said you have Ten or Eleven.. and from the looks of the difference between Four and Five... Ten is probably much different from them. I'd need to actually be able to look and see your version to help you out more. My appologies. |
versions are differnt. ;] And in doing so, I was able to
finally figure it out!
And just in case I
forget or someone else needs to know, I'll just put how I
did it here. (Lol)
First I just copied a blank
image onto the image I wanted a layer on. Then I double
clicked on the new layer over on the pannel and in the
"merge" area, I went down to "Darken". It was so simple. :]
