Why do they use diffrent people for each movie of balto? Maybe because the first guy was getting to old?I mean they sound all a like but there diffrent people.Or maybe they needed a guy that sounded younger for the first one and then maybe they needed someone to sound like a little older for the seond one. And then they needed like a grampa to play for the third.Well what do you think?

Not only were there five years between the first and second
movie, but it's very likely that the actors who did the
speaking parts were not available.
Additionally, the first movie was done on a theatrical
budget (the best budget for doing a movie). The
second AND third were done for a direct-to-video budget (the
smallest). It's just as likely they could not afford the
original actors (most of whom are top billers). ALSO the first movie was done by a combined effort of Universal Studios (the features department) and Steven Spielberg's Amblimation (now Amblin Entertainment). The sequels were done by Universal Studios cartoon studio...and entirely different (and smaller) department.
And yet,
there were some famous voices in the sequels too - Mark
Hamill (Luke from Star Wars), David Carradine ("Kung Fu",
the tv series, etc.), Peter MacNichol (Boston Legal,
"Dracula Dead And Loving It", "Bean", etc.), Sean Astin (The
Lord of the Rings, Rudy, etc.), Keith Carradine (Into The
West, etc.), Kathy Najimy (Sister Act, Sister Act 2), David
Paymer (Oceans 13, Payback, Get Shorty, etc.), and Carl
Weathers (Rocky, Rocky 3).
And there was some
great cartoon voice talent...including the legendary Charles
Fleischer (Who Framed Roger Rabbit, also an actor), Maurice
LaMarche (The Simpsons, Inspector Gadget, Tripping The Rift,
etc.), and Jodi Benson (Lady & The Tramp 2, The Little
Mermaid).
Incidentally, the people who played Balto, Jenna, Boris, Muk & Luk in Balto 2 also played them in Balto 3. Personally, I think the guy who played Balto in the sequels (Maurice LaMarche) did a FAR better job than Kevin Bacon in the original. Being a cartoon voice over expert, he has far better range of emotion and skill with his voice than Bacon. And I don't think he was going for an "old" voice, but more of a wolfish one...with the gravely sound. (Similarly, I think Kevin Schon, who voiced Muk & Luk in the sequels, got very close to Phil Collins, who did them in the first one). Being the first actor or actress to voice a character doesn't necessarily make them the best. Sometimes, those who take over a role do far better. Admittedly, however, that is a matter of opinion (especially, it seems, with Balto fans).
