Here's a pretty good question (I hope). I'd like to know if anyone can help me with fleshing out my Balto Source profile (the main site one, not the forums one). There is no help resource for that.
Some folks have great stuff on theirs...a background image, even background music. But when I tried posting HTML coding for that in the design section, and saved the information, the coding showed up AS coding on the profile page. No good. And the "design" button didn't work...even with text in the window.
I'd like to add a background image and even a looping background tune on my page (the former is more important to me than the latter, of course). Any help anyone could provide would be graciously appreciated!

Hmm. Something to ponder, Maya. Thanks for the heads-up. I mean, compared to some of the pathetically-busy profile pages some of the younger kids put up (kids from, like, 9-13 years of age), mine's gonna remain pretty routine. But then, would having a background on one page of a profile really do that much harm to steet's layout otherwise? Of course, as I am sure you realize, that's not my intent. |

Steet has stated before that he does not appreciate people killing the site backround with one of their own on their profile. He never really said anything about music, but I wouldn't do it. And Sarabi -> Dont speak if you have no idea what your talking about. I have not put any of these things on my profile, so I would not know. "HTML" version is what your using? I have noticed that some of the HTML does not work that well on BS. But for the most part I haven't had a problem. Are you sure your coding it right? But as I mentioned, Steet does NOT appreciate us killing his backround. |

Well, thanks, SF. I did actually end up figuring it out. Tibb or Kari...feel free to close out this question now, thanks! |
