This isn't really a question but more of a suggestion. Okay, here it goes: when you first come on b-source if you have a pm, it will notify you where your username is; so sometimes I come on and my brother is logged in as himself...so to get into my account I have to click on the pm and I don't like invading other people's privacy. SO what I'm trying to say is, I think we should be able to log out or edit our profile and still know we have an unread pm! :) thank you for your time.

When you click on the PM's, you don't necessarily
have to read it, it just says the title and who sent it.. So
unless you click on THAT (which you don't have to), then I
don't see a problem..

You could always tell him that he does, or click 'Mark as unread' But as Steet said, just tell him to log out when he's done & you do the same..

Well then when my brother comes on, he won't know he has a pm because the thing that says " You have 1 new private message" won't be up there.

Well maybe he should create his own account, and you should log out when you have finished doing what you want on the site. But I'm not sure to understand your problem.
