When the doctor of Nome calls anchorage, the doctor of nome says STOP. why?
is it like a period?
Dragon Tamer
heidisart is correct. STOP is basically used in place of a
period when sending a telegraph message. Of course
virtually nobody sends those anymore, but that's how they
did it. AlueKiara, you're almost right on the money, but on
walkie-talkies and such, "Over" is only used to signify the
end of the message, not the end of the sentence.
