I became good at drawing by tracing first, but as I grew
more confident, I started drawing with out tracing.

I guess people are just lucky, or take lessons...

did wantto hear practice from one person, the first person

mayahuskey!!!!!!! ill TRY!!! And i wasnt planning on taking
middle school (mine's high school) art calsses! my art
teacher only talks! im on band so me and my friends(other
band members) sat out and watched and helped! thank you
everfur fur your answer!(this is not an answer) oh yeah, any
recomeded books??? im trying to get the most out of this one

tracing can help you to see how to draw the
shapes...personally buy yourself a drawing aid book...it
helps...

well, you could just spend all your time drawing, and it
will grow on you. maybe?

Myself, I'm not too much of an artist. I'm not sure
"practice" is not what he wanted to hear-specifically, he
requested the KIND of practice...Did you guys mean tracing
it over and over untill you could do it from memory? Or bash
your head against the wall untill it looks good?

I usually do the latter. What I did was take pictures
of my dog in various poses. From there, I observed where the
body curved, why, and the ratio of that curve or body part
to another body part. To better see all the lines, I erased
everything but my dog's outline in the picture, and then
took a pen and exagerated the width of outline-and I started
to get better, even in one day! However, one day is not all
it takes, because I suck at art anyways.

Practice definitely makes perfect. Or you can bash your
head against the wall. Either way . Look up wolf drawing
tutorials and like MayaHuskee said, use shapes for the
anatomy. Reading some books could help. But if you're in
middle school or something, whatever you do, DONT sign up
for art. All you do is make pictures out of beans and foil,
the don't teach you anything...Really...I'm dead
serious...

There are some classes you could
take that are available to everyone (I meant they aren't in
school) but if you find it's not helping drop out and save
your money.

practice..practice and practice..iv been drawing seen i
could hold a pen and from then on i could not go a day
without drawing something! so your answer is keep drawing
...it may take weeeks or even years yet...but dont give up!

Seriously, the only sure-fire way to get good at it is to
practice, I know everyone says that but that's coz it's
true, to get really good ya gotta enjoy drawing and really
want to do it, I'm sure if you keep at it you'll do great,
just practice pal and if it don't work, practice more.

My football coach used to tell us on his team: Perfect
practice makes perfect results. You can start out crappy,
and if you practice crappy, you're going to stay crappy. So
just keep practicing perfect.

If you're still
in school, sign up for an art class, it'll help you quite
alot.
