How come when I go to Google Images and I try to save a pic, it will only save as a Bitmap? it used to save as a Jpeg.

The StoneFox-{BP}

When you are saving a pic on Google or somewhere, there will
be a small window that pops up, telling you the name and
file type. There will be a button next to the file type (the
box below the file name box). Click that, and it will list
the picture types (JPEG, Bitmap, GIF, ect...). Click on the
one you want, and click save, and you're done!

I've had the same problem too, does it come up as untitled.bmp when you save? an effective work-around might be to click and drag the image from the website to your desktop

I tried and the only choice I have is to save as a bitmap! I don`t know what went wrong!

	yer mum.

Yes. Some pictures are just naturally Bitmap, and cannot be changed. You'll just have to find some that save as JPEG (JPG).

try another pic on Google. Some pictures can only be Bitmap. Don't ask why...I have no clue why. XD
