Ok, in the first movie Balto is made fun of and feels ashamed he is a wolf. Now why is that?! Being a wolf is sucha great thing, there is sooo many benifets!! You're stronger then other dogs, Balto could probably kick Steel's butt if he wanted too, and even take on more than one and WIN!! Wolves are better looking, as well as carry more pride. Wolves don't take orders from any humans, they just follow the pack doing what they wish! Also Steel was making fun of howling, well howling sounds way better then barking your brains out!! Howling is a beautifull and intrecate way of communicating to others, and I don't know if Steel has noticed but, dogs howl too sometimes... Any who with all that said what is there to be ashamed of?!!

I think it's just like bi-racial kids are sometimes embarassed. I agree with Padme about the point being for him to accept heritage and that being essential for him to make headway. I turned the point around in my first story, if anyone wants to look. On a side note, here's some irony to Steele's bigotry (assuming he's a malamute). The malamute is an Eskimo breed, and the Eskimos crossbred their dogs with wolves for stronger offspring. So all malautes, including Steele, are part wolf!

I always thought as it was just him not likeing his heritage as being a wolf. Plus, that Jenna would possibly never liked him for what he was. But, what Balto didn't understand is that he can't accomplish anything unless he accepts the fact that he is part wolf and he can't change anything about it. Thats what I would do if i were in that situation. I hope everyone understands what I'm talking about. If not just priviate message me at Padme_12, okay? Not to sound cocky alright? Sorry about the long message.
