i have sent in 2 pieces of and they came out good but i am trying to send in a pic on an a4 piece of paper but when i put it to 2000x2000pixels it cuts half the pic how do i stop it?

Change the settings of the software you use to scan
(probably reduce the "dpi" setting, or the resolution)
