i think it would be appropriate. you could even make it into
a signature or an avatar

Anything that can be used as a background, avatar, or
signature is accepted in the fan images section, so long as
its not stolen and at least PARTLY rendered on the computer.
If you took the picture yourself, even better. But if you
were to upload a default picture of a snowy background you
found on your computer, then no, that would not be accepted.

Well, if you make it a backround, or a signature, perhaps
you could. Because then it would be appropreate to put in
there. But if you don't do anything to it, then I would
probably say 'No', hence it is like how the rules say for
screen shots. "Not doing anything to a screenshot, including
just resizing, is not allowed.".. Well, give or take some
words, but thats basically what it is saying. ^^

I think you can as long as you edited it. Add words that
match the picture or add shots of parts of the movie that
make sense with the picture. Try it and see if it accepted.
I think it should be accepted though.
