Balto-Wolf-Dog and the REAL Balto

Question :

Why did they make the REAL Balto look like a wolf when he's a husky?

Best answer :

Hollywood practices a thing known as "poetic license" (which
is used in various media...art, literature, stage and film).
They bend the facts of a true story to fit into "their
vision" of a story, and defend that practice ardently, no
matter how wrong it may be.
