OKay I don't think this was already asked but I'll get to the question. OKay you know how people say "Oh he's the Omega of the litter." or "She was the Beta." What does that mean? I've heard Beta, Omeaga, Alpha and...I need the ones for 4th and 5th. If you can...just try to answer the first question? And if you want to...could answer the second one too? Thankies...

I think I (kinda) understand what you're wondering about,
but I'm not sure whether this is what you mean:
Alpha
- highest ranked
Beta - second-highest (after
alpha)
Omega - If I remember correctly, the lowest
ranked.
I don't think there are any more ranks
really, but this is what I know at the moment (not
guaranteeing that it's correct, but I think it is!).

Yes, the alpha is the highest ranking of the pack, the beta is second and the omega is the lowest ranking memeber. They do everything last and are quite often put in place. |

The Alpha pair - there are two, the male and female - are the two highest ranking. Then comes the Beta, who takes either Alpha's place, when the time comes. The wolves in the middle are called the Subdominates. the lowest ranking wolf is the Omega. Normally, the Omega is charged with "Puppy-sitting" while the others hunt, or so. But all wolves take part in caring for the pups. Usually, only the alpha pair breed, but in some cases, other wolves in the pack also breed. |
Alpha
Beta
Delta
Gamma
Omega
Atleast, that's how I think it is.
