I thought that animated gifs were against the rules, and yet, so many people on the forums have them. There are even request shops for animated gifs. I thought the forum mods would PM them and ask them to change them, but now, it's only getting worse.

It is NOT allowed. So, you could help by sending to a forum
mod a list of the members who have an animated signature.
The mods will then have to warn them by PM. If someone
refuse to remove a signature, I can do it myself, but you
can also threat to ban this member.

It should be enforced. The same with the innappropriate gifs. (swears, referrences to (censored) and violence...)

*blushes embarresingly and hides face in paws* I have an animated sig. Really its not all that distracting but thats just me, once you watch it enough it gets boring. Anyway its not an inforced rules so people will take advantage of it.

Okay, so the "no animated sigs/avatars" rule only applies to the forum, correct? *has an animated avvy here, but not on the forum - I know better! ^__^*

Yeah, I was going to post something too, but I didn't want to get flamed or get the topic locked. I always hate it when topics are locked because of me. I just thought I should mention this since the gifs are slowing down my computer whenever I look at a topic. It's annoying.
