Okay, thanks for your responses; I was just wondering about this because there had been fics written about some of the other pups (I call them quarter-wolves) living out in the wild as wolves. Kinda reminds me of the Jack London book, "The Call of the Wild," where a normal sled dog escapes and turns into a wild animal, don't ya think so? (And yes, Kari: It's obvious that the husky traits showed more in the other pups in WQ, but in WoC, Kodi did howl a lot, as Kelev noted. So perhaps the wolf traits developed slower in the Jenna-clones, but were almost like second nature to Aleu due to her wolf-like physique(or because of Aniu?).)

I agree with Kelev, The instincts are in Balto's other pups as well so I think They could live the lives of Wolves if They wanted to.

Kodi howled far more then Aleu, and I'm surprised you all have forgotten that there are dogs who turn wild. Sure the rest of Balto's pups could make it as a wolf, but the only thing is that if they tried to hunt, their fur would give them away. Other then that, I'm sure they can make it if Aleu can.

Good question...but I'd have to say that the other pups' domestic dog instincts rule out the wild animal instincts. I don't think I recall any of them howling or showing any wolf-like behavior (aside from Aleu, but I haven't seen the movie in a long time, so I could be wrong).
