Number 2 and 3 were lame...it's starting to turn into a Land
Before Time thing....

Probaly cause some people think taking a classic like Balto
and giving a number 2 and 3 ect. just wrecks the verry first
one.So they probaly just consider it dump and a stupid
move,but don't you think it's hard to come up with movies
now,all the good idea's are taken.

I don't "hate" the sequels but they weren't what I was
expecting. No one would've guessed that someone would do a
sequel for Balto, and it techincally had nothing to do with
the first movie whatsoever. But I think they could've made
it a bit more believeable and make a sequel that took place
after Balto, like a week or something and expressing how
life in Nome was after Balto saved the town. But Wolf Quest
ended up being about Aleu and not knowing who she is. I
didn't quite enjoy the level to them as I did to the first
because 1) none of the orignal characters were included. 2)
the first sequel had absouetly nothing to do with Balto, it
mostly centered around Aleu. 3) of course there will be
bloopers but in the sequels, there are so many obvious
bloopers from scene to scene. 4) annoying characters (ex:
Aleu, the terrier, Stella) that, in my opinion, made the
movie blank. though Wings of Change was a bit better and had
more on the lines to do with what the orignal had, I think
they should've included the old characters and perhaps make
Aleu and Kodi's personality a bit better as I think their
bland (Aleu's very annoying and I consider her acting stupid
and Kodi gave into peer pressure wayyy to easily. He
should've thought with his head, not his friends) Overall, I
didn't exactly like the sequels but I didn't hate them
either.

I do not "hate" the sequels, but neither did I quite enjoy them. Although I like some differences, I kept waiting for Steele to come in somewhere...he never did. Aleu wasn't a bad character, neither was Kodi, but they irritated me in the fact that they had virtually nothing to do with the first movie at all. I think that could be what made some people dislike them: the fact that they had nothing to do with the first movie. Also, but I don't know why, the fact that Kevin Bacon was no longer Balto made me dislike them all the more.

i guess people liked the first movie so much that the sequels didnt add up or compare. Otherwise I loved the sequels

As much as I would love to see more Balto movies maybe they should stop at part 4. If they want to carry on Balto they should make a series I don't know if thats cool with all of you but I'm just saying. The sequels are good I like each and every one but maybe instead of making sequels the first movie should should get the success it deserves thats why I sighned the Balto a call from the fans.

Why shouldn't the sequels be Balto movies? Just because they hadn't the same plot, of the series copy-->past, like in almost all the (bad) sequels of other movies? When you see a film you want to see a new thing, not just something you've already seen, but different in some parts.

Well, the Balto 4 trailer has a small team, and is doing it for free. I would not expect so much from them, but so far, their doing an amazing job for a small team and I expect more from Balto 2 and 3. For one, Balto 1 was based on a true story and Balto was fixed at a young age. How could he have pups with Jenna? I hated the idea of them having pups, and well, the plot for Balto 2 is just awful. Where's Kaltag, Steele, Nikki, Star, Jenna's friends? All of them? Balto 3 is not too bad, but just too childish. Truly, for a small team and for teens-to-young adults or so.. Well, their just doing a good job. Just yeah ... To me, The Balto 4 trailer is like a short Fan Fiction but with animation. =) " A film isn't just the animation." Well, no, but it's a big part of the movie. I will not watch a movie no matter how good the plot is and everything if it had very very bad animation. Excuse me for my bad spelling.

I liked the sequels, i don't hate them at all. I don't think they area as good standards as Balto 1, and Wolf Quest i know was very different. But i still liked the movies. Wolf Quest was a very different movie to Balto 1, but even though that, i like it the way it is (with the magic and the wolf stuff ect.) Some things i think were a little odd, like when Nava 'made one' with the tree, and i know it wasn't anything like a Balto film, but i still love it for the way it is! The same with Balto 3 (though it was alike to Balto 1), Balto 3 was a very good movie. And if Wolf Quest and WIngs of Change were, well, say they weren't Balto movies and i wasn't watching them just because their Balto (you know what i mean?) I would still like them and buy them for the movies they are. I personally like the movies a lot! I didn't really know what to expect, and when i first saw them i really enjoyed them. I don't think they are very bad horrible movies. And i don't JUST watch them to support Balto ect., i watch them because i like them and enjoy it! I don't know why a lot of people hate them, maybe they were disapointed with the movies. And for the fan project on Balto 4, you want to support them! And besides, its on a trailer, they aren't going to make a movie and turn Balto into the Land Before Time (which Universal might if they made more). Besides, the Balto 4 fan project is going to be more like the original, and they are trying to make it better and more like a Balto film should be! Anyway, what i want to say is that i like the movies very much so for what they are, and why others hate it, maybe they were disapointed in the movies or they just thought they really weren't that good. But, i just want to make sure that i DO NOT hate the movies. I watch them often (i have to say i watch Balto 3 more, but nevermind) and i enjoy watching them!

Well, I think the sequels were good (sure, they weren't perfectly perfect in the animation dept., but the stories were its strength IMO). I think with the recent releases of so many DTV sequels to classic-good animated movies, we have started to doubt that any official sequel would ever respect the original fully. That's why many fans (who have their own ideas for how a "good sequel" should be) create their own "fan-sequel," because they believe that if the company (in this case, Universal Studios, Inc.) ever decided to make another sequel, it would destroy what the original film stood for (and most likely turn it into a big-old LBT (Land Before Time) sequel-making machine). It's unlikely that any director or writer of a sequel would ever give the fans what they want in a sequel (like making a character return for revenge, or having it focus on one character's continuing journey, or so on), so why not create your own idea and maybe (very rarely, but hey, anything's possible) it could become a reality. (Still that is very unlikely)
