I just recently learned how to render using GIMP and I was just wondering about two things.

First, I've seen some members creating blank renders with, for example, the torso, tail, and legs of Dusty, and then place Jenna's head with it. Another example is when I see a render of Balto from a screenshot nuzzling a render of Jenna from a different screenshot (the lines overlap). Is their a tutorial on how to combine blank renders like that?

And second, are we allowed to render screenshots from free online balto movies that don't require download? I was just wondering because I don't want to do anything that's not permitted.

It's not that hard, actually. You just crop the image you want to graft in (for example, Jenna's head), copy-and-paste it into the image you want to graft it into (Dusty's body), fiddle with the sizes until it looks right, and then erase the immediate area where the two meet and draw in conencting lines so it looks right.

Ok, here's the solutions : 1st - With GIMP, you can select the part of your render that you want transparent with the fuzzy select tool and fill in with alpha (transparent). Then you can combine another render with that one. 2nd - Yes, we can render from any Balto movie as long as we credit Universal.

Maybe if you posted here about how to solve this, anyone who encounters such a problem might be able to solve it, too.
