Text justification in profile presentations

Date : June 12, 2013

Category : Animation Source site questions

Question :

I searched this and couldn't find an existing question on it, so...

I have noticed that, regardless of how I try to change the text justification of my profile presentation (whether or not I am in "source" mode), it ends up coming out center-justified when it posts.  Even if I change the HTML coding!  Is there no way to change that?  Does the site have an overriding default center justification for all profile presentations regardless of what a member does to change it?  If so, that is rather annoying.  (Yeah yeah I know..."it's a glitch, there's nothing you can do about it.  Only steet can, and he never comes on".  I HATE that excuse.)

At least you can edit /your/ presentation. I've tried several times now and it doesn't allow me to change anything.

I tried entering in stuff "by hand", Mighty. As I said in my question. It doesn't seem to work for me. The site auto-justifies everything to the center.

Are you trying to justify it like the way I have it on mine? The new text editor is stupid, but I fought with it long enough to get it to work. I was able to justify the text by using the justly buttons on the editor. The other way I found that worked was to add the HTML code by hand in Notepad and then copy and paste it into the HTML tab. But the downside of that is that I found that backing up the code and saving it is a must if you want to edit it later...
