was anyone exepet balto real?

No character in any of the Balto movies, save for Balto himself, is real. The rest were all fictional creations. And unfortunately, even Balto is fictionalized. The real Balto of history is FAR different from the grayish-brown wolfdog of the three animated movies. And to top it all off, he never mated (and was neutered as a puppy).

Here, on my own website, is a capsule history of the real dog (roll your pointer over this URL and click it): http://www.baltostruestory.net/balto.htm
