If it was removed for copyright it may not be a good idea to post it on here, I'm not sure if steet cares about those anymore though, so I suggest PMing Draco or Blakavr about it before preceding to upload it on site.

@ Mighty - if it is the one on the Balto DVD (the "Region 2" release, which had it), then I see no suspicious thing going on. If it is another documentary, I still don't think it is suspicious in any way, but perhaps the following needs to be done:

1. Aljan should tell us the basic information about it (production company, year of release, and if there is an IMDB page)

2. Aljan would need to contact the copyright owner and ask permission to have it posted here, which is essential.

I can add the documentary to the site, but I cannot if it's not uploaded to some other site fist.

But I am also suspicious of this. This documentary is rare, how do you have it? I'm thinking this is some sort of fan made thing. One of those things were people think the cartoon Balto was all factual and steal people's artwork and make it into a slideshow with music. If it's one of these, then it will not be added to the site.

Plus, in order for it to get removed off of YouTube, there must have been some sort audio in which belongs to Universal or some other studio. If this were to be a true documentary on Balto, there would have been no sound from my guess, only a narration. I don't see where that would have triggered a copyright of any kind.

You'd have to submit it to one of the mods or site builders (who are listed on the staff page). I doubt sending it to steet would work. According to his own words in a recent chat on TSS, he never checks his PMs or e-mails anymore if they have anything to do with Animation Source (at least, on the e-mail address he uses for the site).

I guess you could post it in the videos section, but you can't add it to the official parts of the site (by that I mean the True Story section or something similar) as only mods can do that.
