Hello Reader,

  So i recently had a question in mind that i was unable to find an answer to here on the site or anywhere else when I had checked. Why in the world are there options for animals un-related to Balto? For an example: Pig, Horse, Dragon, Cheetah, Ant, Elephant, Monkey etc.

  If this is a site relating to Balto and the movie itself then shouldn't there only be species of wolves, and dogs? Also i don't see why people get blamed for creating any of these kinds of animals only to be told off by the moderators that "This has nothing to do with Balto" and the movie, if you don't want them to create it, why do you have it even put as an option to use?

  I don't know if that is how it was made,or if it was so that it could be transported to the other sites that do include these animals, but honestly it really gets annoying when someone is blamed for doing something "wrong" when clearly they are just using what is provided for them.  If someone could please answer me without saying anything negative or dull towards my question or even thought, it would be appreciated. Thank you.

That is a good point. But I think that is a universal character creator made for all sources, and that's why all those options are there. Though, I agree, maybe we should disable certain options according to the source.

Aiyana - I guess my point wasn't sufficiently clarified then. I was kind of preaching to the choir here, as the old saying goes. I wasn't going after her for saying this so much as I was speaking in support of the point, and addressing "you" in more general, non-specific terms. Sorry if that wasn't clearer...

What in the world would a cheetah, elephant, monkey or most other animals that were not present in Alaska during the 1920s (or EVER), much less any fantasy creatures like DRAGONS, have to do with the Balto movie settings and milieu? You have to THINK. Even if the Balto movies are set in a partially-fictional milieu, they still have boundaries and established parameters. And you have to abide by them when you are creating stuff for a fan site dedicated TO them. Otherwise, you should go seek out a fan site for, say, Madagascar or something. Or go to Lion King Source. I mean, is this REALLY a difficult concept?? I also agree with Sakujo...there are plenty enough canine creations which were so poorly or inappropriately created that they should not be here either.

Breed options are made for all sources, that's why they're here. By the way I don't think that having a canine character is an excuse to put it freely on Balto Source. Unrelated canines are as useless as other unrelated animals. I'd rather see one Balto-related cat or bird than thousand random wolves...
