If you want a chance to make the must-see list, yes, it DOES have to be strongly Balto-related...or should be. This IS BaltoSource, after all. And like Rainbowkat mentioned, it definitely requires effort. Unless I am mistaken, the "must-see" characters are meant to be well-made characters listed to show other members what a good character should be. That being said, they're just about unvaryingly going to be characters whose creators have given them lots of thought and development.

Want to improve your chances getting on the must-see list? Make a Balto fancharacter with strong development. Key: be patient with it. This isn't the kind of character that can just be created in a matter of minutes or sometimes even hours--it takes much longer than that to create a complete character.

Ultimately, of course, it's the mods' choice. But even if your character doesn't get chosen to be a must-see, if you make it good enough to "qualify", per say, you'll still wind up with a good, well-developed fancharacter. Win-win situation? I think so.

As Mighty said, the mods choose. For a character to become a must see, they have to be Balto related, yes, but you also have to put alot of effort into it. Not 2 or 3 lines, but paragraphs and something that makes the character intresting.
