I'm sorry, but I want to know one think - In gategory "fanart" are not welcomed arts, where character's poses are copied from original Balto's poses and in "Images" nothing talked about copied - only about linearts. Actually, I'm not sure that they are the same things. And now I'm confusing because my arts have copied poses from "Balto", but they aren't too same, so it's not a lineart... And I want to know, where I should to send my works? It's better to the "Fanart" or to the "Images"? In advance thanks for the answer and attention to my question and sorry if the same question has been asked before.

If it's completely drawn by the member (not traced), then it would go to fan-art. Traced images in any form (referencing is different) would go to fan-images (ex: blank renders). Just because the style is the same as in the films doesn't always mean it's traced after all.
Linearts could go to either really. If it was made from an image from your fan-art gallery, it could still go to fan-art since you had still completely made it.

That sounds about right... so yeah, what Imagine said. Honestly, I
think that if someone draws a fan-art using the same pose as a Balto
screenshot, I think those should be credited, so as not to get into
copyright issues as well... you know, just like with the line-art
issue with the renders/fan-images. I always credit the original
source, wherever it may be from - for respect purposes. So, eh... I guess for a couple of pieces of fan-art tracing should be okay for your gallery, but it'd be better if you attempt to use your own poses other than copying from the official source. It helps make your art stand out, and you can only get better in time. I'm not saying that you shouldn't trace or use screenshots for referencing and practicing... but it can help some when trying to figure out your own unique style. That's just my advice, and I hope this helps too. - Juuchan17 |

If you DRAW a character that has the same pose as a Balto character,
usually they go in fan art. Line arts are basically the same thing, only done on the computer. Those go into fan images. Thats usually how we separate tracing/referencing from making a line art. I'm not 100% sure about this. That's just how I see things. But I hoped this helped! |
Now I know, that I can send my arts to fanart and yes, I always credit that poses are from original film, thank's) You really helped me!
