Other movie renders are not allowed, and haven't been for a while. Steet has said so himself (if you don't believe me, ask him yourself). The reason why it's not in the updated rules is because they NEED updating but he 'doesn't have time' or whatever else excuses he makes up. Among other things that need done for years but haven't.

Also, ranting here won't solve anything. PM a mod or Steet himself (good luck with the latter though, he rarely responds to us mods).

well i must say i'm not that active on sending fanarts as much as i used to, but i think i still have all the right to give y oppinion as i'm still part of the site

As we already had a similar problem with mods making their own rules up.. i decided to only take as official rules the ones that are featured on the "send to the site" or the ones that are on the forums, otherwise is nothing valid for me, i've just checked the official rules and it doesn't say anything neither about backgrounds {nothing but not to use photo backgrounds } neither about characters from other series,

so if i were you i'd send a polite message to teh mod who deactivated your images and show a screenshot of the official rules which are featured on the "send to the site" section, or contact steet and clear everything up

Other backgrouds are allowed as long as they are not photos. I do it alot(mostly because Balto doesn't have all the scenery I want to show) and no one said it's agains the rules.
Using images from other movies are not allowed(stupid rule I know. How many huskies and wolves can there be in Nome?), but I saw renders that were using images from other movies and they werent deactivated. Looks like some people are just more equal than others...

But where is it stated? SHOW ME. There is no rule visible on the site that even says that. Heck, I think as long as a Balto character [or BS fan-character, etc] is in the render, it should be allowed to stay. There should be some exceptions, else people will be making this site BORING as HECK.

...OR they should change the darn rule and freaking SHOW IT so that I can leave my good render to a place that cares to accept them the way they are.

I'm unsure about the background, though I have seen it allowed before.

And no, renders OR characters from another movie, on AS or not, are not allowed.
