Apparently, the summer trolling resulted in several security modifications to the sources such as moderator email addresses being hidden from view on their profile. Another change was taking out the ability to change the group tags (or whatever that message thing was called) since somehow, and I really do not know how, trolls got in through hacking that specific feature. Until they find a more secure coding or something for it, we're stuck with the tag for now.

In short, you are unable to do it. At least for right now

I've tried to alter mine too, and for the longest time I have been unable to. It is altered from your forum account control panel. However, there is apparently yet ANOTHER "glitch" in Animation Source which is preventing people from changing their own profiles. I have discussed it with moderators, who only say that it is a glitch and steet is "working on it". That was months ago. Many months. And nothing has changed.

In my case, it refers to my moderatorship on Lady & The Tramp Source. I haven't been a moderator there since late last year, but I can't get rid of that tag on my account. And no moderator seems able to do it for me. And steet seems to not be in any hurry to fix this particular issue, if he is even aware of it.
