Balto Source did not give you a virus, there would have been other reports. One thing is for sure, your computer is infected.
It sounds like you have Adware on your computer. (I could be wrong, but my help should at least be helpful) I don't know what virus software you're using, but it doesn't sound like it's doing anything for you. I'll link you up with some programs that can help. If these don't help you, you may have to format the computer. If you don't know how to do that, take it into a place that deals with computers. They will charge you though, so keep that in mind. If you have the restore CDs, you may want to find someone you know who can help you. Keep in mind you will lose everything if you end up having to do this.

Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Avast: http://www.avast.com/en-us/index
Comodo Firewall: http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/ (Will help against attacks)
Remove your other anti virus first before installing Avast. Schedule a boot-time scan. A boot-time scan will detect a virus before the computer boots up. Scanning when the computer is on doesn't always work. If the boot-time scan does detect a virus, it wall ask you what you want to do with it. Quarantine the virus; deleting the virus isn't always the safest thing to do. After that run Malwarebytes just to see if Avast may have missed something. It doesn't matter when you run the other programs. Also, when using Spybot, immunize afterwords. This will make it so it's harder for spyware to get through.
Also, if you're using Internet explorer, don't use that. IE is an insecure browser. Use either, Firefox, Google chrome, Safari, or Opera.
Choose what one you want, I use Firefox myself.

Lastly, ALWAYS install your updates. Also, get to know your computer. Learn what is normal. If it starts to act in away it doesn't normally, then that is a sign of infection. Such as running slowly, error messages, etc.

For next time, if you are told you have a virus, and it says you have to download something to stop it, do NOT download it, even if your own security center says it. (I'm serious. It happened to me.)
