Why does my fanfic progress keep getting deleted?

Hi all a very annoyed Titanic here XP

I'm writing a few fanfics at the moment and Ive made a lot of work on some. But every now and again whenever I try to continue, huge chunks of the writing had been deleted / disappeared. I also lost a near-complete fanfic so this is really getting on my nerves. Anyone please help? X-)

May be a glitch. Otherwise I don't really know. I'd advise saving a word file of the fic as well, so you can just go back and copy/paste what gets deleted. And you would have a back up.
