Hey!
This kind of relates to the GIMP brushes question asked earlier, but it's not the same question.
I downloaded some brushed from Deviant Art with success, but here's the problem: my original brushes are gone. I don't know why. Is there any way I could get my old brushes back, and if so, where? Thank you!

Ok, another problem. I re installed GIMP, but my old brushes still
aren't there. To make matters worse, I tried to get them back and
ended up deleting my new brushes too. Now...I have no brushes
whatsoever. I should not mess around with these things anymore XD. Do
you think downloading a new version would work? (I don't know if this
changes anything, but I have a Mac computer) |

I didn't have to, when I had to re install gimp, when I opened it, all
the brushes I'd install were there, I didn't have to re install them. |

If your older brushes disappeared, i've noticed GIMP can only hold a certain number of brushes and then won't show the other ones. I don't know why but that's what happens. So only having brushes you use often on GIMP will be your best bet.
Now that you're brushes are all gone, you may as well un-install GIMP completely. And make sure all the old program files are gone. Once everything is cleared, install the latest version of GIMP. The latest version usually has fixes to the bugs and faults in other versions :3
