OK so I have a background. I pasted something into the background, but all around what I pasted there is white. How do I blend that into the background, where that white is? Seriously confused here, and I need to know.

In MS Paint to do a clear paint is select --> Transparent selection,
try that and paste. Does it work? |

What Mighty said. You can erase the white by using an eraser or by a
using a lasso selecting tool around the white and pressing "clear" or
"cut". |

Really, I would suggest Gimp or Pixlr. (An online program) Paint really isn't the best for graphics.
