So, I was thinking. I know that you are not longer allowed to use renders from the other sources(which doesn't make ANY sense to me, what's the harm in wanting a "Tramp" like dog in Balto's world? Do ALL characters honesly have to be of the EXACT same body build? But I digress) but how come you can use renders from other sites, like DA and such? What I'm talking about are "Kay's" line arts, for example. She isn't on Balto Source, and her characters look NOTHING like Balto, so how come we can use those renders, from a completely different site, but not ones from the other sources, BS's sister sites? That doesn't make any sense to me.
What I'm trying to ask is this:
Why can't we use line arts and body builds from our sister Sources(if "Sparkel dogs" were allowed because people thought they needed them to be creative, why can't we be more creative than Balto, Jenna, Alue, Jodi or Steele?)...
...and yet we can use line arts and body builds from totally DIFFERENT -and in no way shape or form related to the Sources in anyway- sites?
Personally, I prefer Kay's lines. Though, yes, they seem to get sort of cliche after a while, they are much closer to mah own style than the Balto ones. I also love the other bodies that wonderful animation has given us, but I don't want to have to make a character on that site(i.e. a "Tramp" character would HAVE to be related to Tramp somehow if i wanted to make a character like him). ALL movies are filled with different body builds and breeds, why can't we be as creative as them, if this is a place that promotes creativity and a love of animation?
Sorry if I seemed to rant, but this has been bugging me for a LONG time.

Lineart from other sites are allowed because, like Demeter said, its your own style. You would be allowed to use lineart from other sources as long as there animals in the Balto range (Meaning animals like Wolves, Dogs, Foxes, Bears e.g....) and if the owner of the lineart doesn't mind.
