I looked for a question similar to mine, but I didn't fine anything that answered me.
Since photo backgrounds aren't allowed anymore, can we take screenshots from one of our games and use that instead? If we have permission to, of course.

Not in the fanart section, but I suppose for fanimages, if you state
copyrights. |

Question: What I'm saying is that if you ask for permission first from
the owner(the REAL owner - -) and they give us permission, can we
still use it on here? |

Even if you credit, did you get their premission? I mean, If I did an online game, I want to know who was using my works. Let me put it this way. I did a good piece of artwork. You really like it. You put it on your profile, giving credit to me, HOWEVER, you did not ask me in the first place. Still theft. |

If you credit the owner, it should count as a normal background. Honestly, I would just use a screenshot, put a wolf in it[make sure it looks like a game, not photo] and then credit it and send it. If it doesn't acivate then I suppose it isn't allowed. But like I said, I see no "game screenshots" on the image rules that are not allowed. |

I would think that they are considering that it isn't a photo
background and that seems to be the only type of image background not allowed. |
